Alex, good to see the changes you're making to the website. The forum and blog could be really useful to we owners of AeroAdventure products. First question: What will be the core subject matter for the Forum vs the Blog? Is the Forum a place for we owners/operators to share experience, ask questions, get advice, provide heads-up, etc? And the blog for you to post important information, build tips, and make suggestions?
In the appropriate place, then, one thing to consider starting with might be the following: a list of critical inspection items on preflight that might be overlooked; how to check the condition of wear items like brakes, carburetor boots, bearings, air filters, springs, etc.; the best prop tape for our use; how to replace wear items like bearings, brakes, prop tape, tires, batteries, fuel/oil/water hoses, etc. A good one might be to reference the recent articles in EAA's Sport Aviation Magazine that discussed the Bing 64 carbuetor in detail.
The Forum could be used by we operators to post photos of and describe our favorite Aventura playgrounds, trips, meetups, fly-ins, etc. It would be nice to hear from other operators and what they have learned or are concerned about.
Thanks, Alex.
