Does anyone know where I might be able to get training for the Aventura 2
I assume to fly an Aventura legally in Canada you need a float rating and check ride for this type of a/c (kind of like getting your taildragger ticket). To prepare for a check ride it would make sense to get approximately 5 hrs dual with a proficient pilot or does it have to be an instructor? Maybe some ground school would be good too. Can someone confirm the requirements?
I watched one of your videos and you mentioned Mid Island Air in upper New York State. The issue with COVID and border restrictions is getting stateside. I would love to come down to Florida but it is problematic with all the required quarantine.
Understood, yes eventually there will be an SLSA up there however it’s just not completed yet.
Here in Deland, or Sebring flight academy. Currently those are the only two SLSA locations
